I got this at a real drive-in, a.k.a. not Sonic
We found this great restaurant in the town of Copper Center (population 250) right near the entrance to Wrangell St. Elias. We met some locals; the high school just graduated its senior class- it's kinda bizarre thinking what it would be like to grow up here.
Sweet lemon green tea
Lunch at the Sheep Mountain Lodge, per Debbie's suggestion. A really comfy, quaint place. We steered clear of the nachos!
Salmon quesadillas in Alaska are as prevalent as breakfast tacos in Austin
Grilled cheese is something I've been ending up with a lot around here. Yummy, though
We literally went crazy with dessert; I got carrot cake, but somehow blueberry pie, chocolate chip cookie, and cinnamon roll also ended up down my throat :)
Fast forward to Anchorage (I'm starting to get lazy with chronology here) we ate at restaurant in downtown called Ginger. Pretty good, I'd recommend it. The ginger ale was homemade and really good.
The carrot ginger soup was delicious
And I got tofu- it tasted like tofu (aka not much to it)
