It's been on my mind for a long time to start a blog. It might be fun! And thus I have. I'm procrastinating Architecture, as usual (I can predict this will be a reoccurring theme in the creation of my posts). In any event, there's lots of exciting stuff going on in my life, so be prepared to read about it, and see beautiful accompanying pictures...at a later time. Peace.
Great going!! I absolutely look forward to read, see and know about more cool stuff just like I see at home :) Good luck!

Hey dear, this is super cool! I'm excited to see this and to even see your work! Please write more about the flag...
ReplyDeleteAlso, my colleage, a Math teacher at the school where I"m teaching in San Francisco, is doing an architectural competition with her students - 9th graders! You would have totally loved it, I think. They have to design a green center for sustainable living. I was just talking to my dad about it today. Perhaps you have some insights for the students?!?
Hugs,
Vlada
Hi Vlada!
ReplyDeleteHows it going? Apparently word of my blog has spread throughout the family. Now I have expectations to meet! :)
This architectural project with high school students sounds awesome! The things I'm learning now definitely would have been inspiring to me as a high school student. As far as words of insight... good architecture is all about fitting to people's diverse needs while keeping into consideration a building's impact large and small. The majority of us live in cities- it is amazing the impact the built world has on our lives- from the way we move, to the way we think, to our health and the health of the environment- so, generally, just have fun with designing and use the potential power of architecture and the many restrictions and conflicts that come with any project as moments of inspiration.
